Desert Field International LLC, (DFI) is formed to service the Oman Oilfield requirements. The business has expanded from the initial concept of small repairs, Engine overhauls and Cabin fabrication to major engineering contracts such as Rig overhauls/ Rig ups, complete Mud Tank systems, Mud Pump overhauls, complete Camp Construction, Plant Hire and parts distribution and Desalination Plants. Highly equipped shaded workshop facility. Our inspection team covers all the requirements of 6 monthly and yearly inspection of mobile and drilling rigs within the customer specified time frame with the team experience we can make a better deal for you. We also offer 450 M2 fully enclosed blasting & painting facility.
DFI has experienced Managers with vast knowledge in major sectors of the Oilfield and Steel Construction Industry. The organization is complemented by a pool of qualified and multi-skilled professionals and technicians e.g. Engineers, Fabricators, Coded Welders, Electricians, Riggers, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, and Crane Operators all having good pedigree and experience in the field of Construction and installation.
DFI Welders and Welding Procedure Specification are qualified in accordance with ASME Section IX & API 1104 which is certified by a third party Inspector from a recognized International Certifying Society.
DFI LLC will be very soon be certified by the American Petroleum Institute for carrying out overhauls, Manufacture & Repairs to On-Shore & Offshore Drilling Rigs & Equipments.
